You Smiled

I watched you.  I watched you and you smiled in pure joy; and it seemed to me, delight.  To me this was a gift.  You did not know it but you gave me a gift of witnessing your delight.  I shared it with you, maybe without your knowing.  You lifted your head and smiled with water dripping from your face as you finished the wave.

I felt it and it warmed me.  It still warms me because I shared this happiness with you.
